Privacy Policy
GYMLIGHT respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Order information: name, email, delivery address, phone number, order contents.
- Payment information is processed by our payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data: pages viewed and device type, used to improve the store.
- Marketing consent, if you subscribe to email.
- Advertising data: when you browse or buy, the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API record actions such as pages and products viewed, items added to cart and purchases, together with device and browser information and cookie identifiers.
Why we use it
To fulfil and deliver your order, provide support, handle returns and warranty claims, prevent fraud, and, only with your consent, send you product email. We also use browsing and purchase data to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show our ads to people who are likely to be interested, including people who have visited our store.
Who we share it with
Our commerce platform, payment processors and couriers, to fulfil your order. Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), to measure and improve our ads: when you check out, details such as your email address and phone number are shared with Meta in hashed (scrambled) form so purchases can be matched to ads. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@gymlightshop.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing email with one click in any message.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for your cart and currency preference, analytics cookies to understand how the store is used, and advertising cookies from Meta (the Meta Pixel) that help us measure and personalise our ads. Meta and other third parties may use cookies and similar technologies on this site to collect information and use it to provide measurement services and target ads. Retention
Order records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Marketing data is deleted on request.
